Integration of Coalescing Filtration with Magnetic Separation Systems

BPS magnetic separation systems are designed as a primary solids removal stage, capturing ultra-fine ferrous and non-ferrous contamination directly from process streams.

In many applications, coalescing elements are used for liquid–liquid and gas–liquid separation. However, their performance is often impacted by fine particulate contamination that bypasses conventional filtration and accumulates on the coalescing media reducing their liquids removal efficiency resulting in early unplanned element change outs.

To address this, BPS now offers coalescing filtration units for integration with our systems.
Installed downstream of BPS magnetic separators, coalescing filtration operates in a cleaner environment, improving liquid removal performance and extending coalescing element life.

This enables a more complete contamination control approach, supporting stable operation across applications such as water removal, oil polishing, gas conditioning, and fine liquid separation in natural gas, amine, glycol, fuels, and condensate systems.
